Since 1993, Charles DeWeese has been providing clients with quality projects on time and within budget.

CDCI offers qualified project managers and superintendents with many years of field experience. We use GPS, Nuclear Gauges, Project Management Software, and have a licensed Professional Engineer on staff to ensure projects stay on track.

CDCI is a recognized industry leader and we attribute our consistent growth and success to wise investments. We invest in the right people and train them continuously in technology, leadership, and safety. Investments in technology and up to date equipment ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality results. With our experienced workforce, equipment fleet, safety, and financial stability, we can accomplish the most challenging projects. CDCI is a prequalified contractor for the Department of Transportation in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Indiana. Charles Deweese, CDCI President and Owner

Charles Deweese, President/Owner

52 Years Experience in operating, owning, and management of a construction company. Charlie has built multi-discipline projects ranging from building construction thru roadway and site development to include many projects for The United States Military. Today Mr. Deweese handles the day to day oversight of Charles Deweese Construction’s relationships with banking and business partners.

Tim Smith, Executive Vice President

Tim joined CDCI in 2003 and serves as the company’s Executive Vice President. He is responsible for providing vision and direction for the company. Tim is involved in overall supervision of all departments at CDCI and has maintained yearly average sales of over $35 million. Tim has a combined total of 28 years of experience in the construction industry.

John Valiquette, CDCI CFO

 John Valiquette, CFO

Since 1985, John has held positions of Controller/CFO, Treasurer and stockholder of construction companies having up to $125,000,000 in revenue and over 500 employees. During these years, he provided oversite to accounting issues and presentations according to GAAP, budget creation, cash management, corporate tax planning, risk management and human resources. He has interacted with auditors, tax and legal professionals. John held a CPA certificate until 2010 when the certificate was retired. He joined CDCI in 2014 as the CFO.

Jackie Minnicks, Operations Manager

Jackie is also titled as CDCI’s Lead Resources Manager. Jackie ultimately directs or interacts with the utilization of all the companies many equipment assets on a daily basis and is instrumental in the successful construction of the majority of all CDCI projects. Jackie has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry.

Tanner Deweese, CDCI Estimator and Project Manager

Tanner Deweese, Estimator/Project Manager

Tanner, son of Charles Deweese, officially joined CDCI in 2016 and has a wealth of knowledge by being around the industry for many years. Tanner has become an excellent estimator and project manager of all phases associated with asphalt development. Tanner is responsible for asphalt management, including, controlling budgets, negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the executive team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. Additionally, Tanner and his father work closely to the control the company’s finances and aid in the future development of CDCI. Tanner also graduated with B.S.B.A from the University of Louisville.

Terry Harvey, CDCI LEED AP, Estimating Manager

Terry Harvey, LEED AP, Estimating Manager

With over 35 Years of experience in the construction industry Terry leads the estimating department at CDCI. Terry holds a 2-year Technical Degree in Civil and Highway Technology and was a partner in a large general contracting company prior to joining CDCI. Terry has vast knowledge in both commercial and civil construction.

Clint Easley, CDCI Project Manager

Clint Easley, Project Manager

Clint joined CDCI in 2014 and has a total of 7 years in the civil construction industry. Clint has experience overseeing all phases of industrial multi-million-dollar civil construction projects as well as the private sector. Clint is responsible for total project management, including, controlling budgets, negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget.

Lyn Davis, Executive Project Manager

Lyn joined CDCI in 2018 with 28 years of construction technical and management experience. Lyn has a BS- BCT/Construction Management Degree from Purdue University and an Executive MBA from Washington University.

Lyn holds USACE CQM and OSHA30 Certifications.

Zach Cooke, CDCI Safety Director

Zach Cooke, Safety Director

Zach is the Safety Director for CDCI. He holds the following certifications: Certified Safety and Health Specialist (CSHS), OSHA Outreach Trainer, OSHA 511, OSHA 510, OSHA 30 Hour, MSHA Part 46 Certified, Certified Equal Opportunity Officer, Certified Drug/Alcohol Test Collector, KYTC Traffic Control Technician, KYTC Traffic Control Supervisor, KYTC Certified Basic Work Zone Flagging Trainer, 1st Aid/CPR/BBP/AED Certified. Zach holds a B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies, attended Western Kentucky University for 4 years. He also served as a Deputy Sherriff in Simpson County KY for 2 years.

Josh Buttery, CDCI Schedule Manager

Josh Buttery, Schedule Manager

Josh joined CDCI in 2018 with technical and marketing knowledge and has taken on many facets here with the CDCI Team. Josh is responsible for scheduling projects and measuring the production for our many jobsites. Josh’s responsibilities include scheduling, website design, and social media marketing, and handling the processes related to field documents and daily reports. Josh also graduated with B.S.B.A from the University of Louisville.
